| Here's the before picture with an ivory tub and toilet and a nasty brown 3 piece surround. The surround covers a small window. A set of "Over the Toilet" shelves proudly displays our collection of "Bathroom Stuff". | |||
| Here's the before picture from the other side of the room. | |||
| The tub has been replaced and the surround is gone. After moving a few studs and replacing the header, we have a new glass block window (light at last!). New plumbing was necessary for the new tub and shower faucet. | |||
| Tub to ceiling tile was added with a strip of beach pebbles.The curtain rod was replaced with a fancy piece of wire strung just below the ceiling that gives the tub area a very open look. | |||
| Plants hanging from a new shelf in the shower really brighten the room. | |||
| Phase II starts. The sink, vanity, toilet and floor have been removed. Our cat inspects the wiring for the in floor heat system. | |||
| A new tile floor has been put down. | |||
| The only problem with in floor heat is that you always have to step over a sleeping cat! | |||
| The cabinet behind the door fills the stud cavity and provides lots of storage for "Bathroom Stuff". | |||
| New sink and vanity. The backsplash is the same tile and pebble as the shower. | |||
| Four more wall cabinets provide a fair amount of storage. | |||
| New halogen lights on a dimmer provide lots of light, but can be turned down so they don't blind. | |||
| The bathroom is only 5' wide, but since the vanity and base cabinets only stick out about 14" from the wall, it feels very spacious. | |||
| Here's the before and after. | |||
