May  2011

We started off the month of May attending our first dog show of the year.  Connor and I traveled
off to the Burns Lake dog show.  It was a blast !  For a young dog he did very well by earning a
Group 3 and a Group 1st placement.  Special thanks to judges Fred Dewsbury and Bruce Owen for
those nice wins.

Seems like we've been neglectful of our 'News' page.  It's been just a tad busy around here.
Puppies arrived a few days early on February 23rd.  A good size litter with 5 boys and 5 girls.
We were quite impressed with the quality of pups, so much so that we decided to keep a boy
and a girl for ourselves.  Named Daisy and Aiden, their pages should be up eventually on our
'dogs' page.

Feb.  2011

Only thing new here is that there is more snow to shovel.  We still can't get into our training
grounds due to so much of the white stuff.

The end of Feb. our local dog club is putting on a reproduction seminar which we will be
attending.  Should be very informative.  It will be nice to have a reproduction vet closer
to us.

The reproduction seminar was great !  It will be nice to have a good reproduction vet so
close to us.  Learned lots of new information.

Jan.  2011

Thought we'd try something new and incorporate a 'news' page into our web site this time
around.  Not a lot to report here during the winter.  The highways and weather are usually
bad at this time of year, so we tend to stick pretty close to home.  We did venture south the
end of November and Connor did well - winning the breed in all the shows he entered.  Not to
shabby for a 1 1/2 yr old !

Plans were in the process of being made to go down south to a dog show when two dogs we had
previously bred, decided to get romantic so we will be staying home and delivering puppies.
Expected date of arrival is approximately Feb. 25 th.
