Sunday School

Our Sunday School uses the Godly Play curriculum, which is based on the teaching principles of Maria Montessori. Godly Play uses enactment of parables, sacred stories and sacred liturgy as a means of discovering God, self, and others. A time for creative reflection through drawing or writing follows each lesson.

Children aged 5 and older gather with the teachers in the front pews of the church prior to the 10:30 Sunday Mass, and go to their classroom in the Parish Hall following the Collect for the Day. The children and teachers return to the church in time for Communion. Sunday School meets from September to June, excepting major feast days.

There is a nursery and washroom at the entrance to the church building where younger children may be tended during mass.
