Prayer and Music in the Style of Taizé is a meditative prayer service of repetitive chant, sponsored by the Downtown Churches Association, held on third Fridays at 18:00, September to November, January to June: January 20, February 17, March 16, 2012 at Christ Church Cathedral.

"Nothing is more conducive to a communion with the living God than a meditative common prayer with, as its high point, singing that never ends and that continues in the silence of one's heart when one is alone again."
-- Brother Roger, founder of the Taizé Community
