The Church of Saint Barnabas offers contemplative worship in a setting of elegant simplicity, emphasizing the Catholic tradition of the Anglican Church. Our ceremonial is that which the Church has practised from ancient times. It is our joy to present to the glory of God a liturgy that reveals the majesty and the mystery of the divine presence among us.
We are one of fifty or so parishes in the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia, which comprises Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. The parish was founded in 1890, the third in the City of Victoria. The current church building was consecrated in 1952.
Masses are offered daily. Sunday School is available for children during most 10:30 Sunday sung masses.
