Sunday SchoolWe have a Sunday School program every Sunday from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM. Kids are returned to their parents just before communion services. We give them some activities and also explain Sunday’s gospel. |
Prayer CircleA group of people who commit to pray for people or situations as the need arises. A telephone call informs you of the prayer request. Prayer is offered in your home. Introductory guidance is provided. |

| Prayer Group
All are invited to join the Prayer Group at St. Clare's. The group meets in October and February from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesdays, a month dedicated to the honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Meetings will take place in the church itself. All are welcome to come and pray for the intercession of our Blessed Mother for all our needs. |
A group of parishioners willing to bring Holy Communion to the sick or shut-ins in their homes on a regular or occasional basis, as needed. Training required by the Archdiocese. |

A group of women parishioners who work for the general well-being of the local and Canadian church, and who take seriously their own faith growth in community. |
Shawl Ministry
Care and the love of knitting (and crochet) have been combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace. Many blessings are knitted into every shawl. The knitter begins each shawl with prayers for the recipient. Intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. When the shawl is completed it is offered a final ritual before being sent along its way. Some Uses for the Shawls... Undergoing medical procedures; as a comfort after a loss, during bereavement, prayer or meditation, commitment or marriage ceremonies, birthing, nursing a baby; as a bridal shower gift; leading ritual; first menses or croning rites of passage, during an illness and recovery; ministering to others or just socializing..."Shawls ... made for centuries universal and embracing, |

Society of St. Vincent de Paul St. Clare's is part of a 4-parish conference which offers food hampers and possibly some other kinds of help such as clothing or furniture to people in need in our area. Packers and/or deliverers are needed either on a regular basis, which could be either weekly or monthly, or even on an occasional basis. Guidance provided. |

A group of parishioners willing to assist in the goal-setting and pastoral planning for the parish and advising the priests on pastoral matters. People attracted to this ministry are welcome to attend a “come-and-see” meeting before deciding. Monthly meetings except during the summer. |

| Seniors' Luncheon
Every Month on the Second Tuesday the Social Club hosts a wonderful home-made lunch which usually consists of soup, sandwiches, and dessert for the seniors. Each lunch is followed with a fun game of card bingo and lots of time to socialize. Feel free to join us for this event. Cost is $5.00/person. |

| Social Club
An organization primarily of seniors who meet for monthly luncheons on a Tuesday at noon. The group also organizes about four other main social events during the year, including the Harvest Supper and the St. Patrick's Day Supper. A lot of fun. Both members and member-helpers are welcomed. |
