A 20 minute drive north from Victoria, 5 miles from both the Victoria
International Air Port and the B.C. Ferry terminal Swartz Bay, You will find
plenty of accommodation, hotels, motels, and B&B's right on the water-front.
Shops, grocery stores and restaurants are all within walking distance.

Charter fishing boats cater to individuals or small groups.
Only you and your guide, and the persons you invite,
are on board during your charter. The price per hour
is for your guide and the boat (not per person), and all the bait and tackle.
You can divide the charter fee between you and your fishing
partners to make a pleasant fishing trip very affordable.

As in Sooke, Salmon here are caught by means of trolling,
using downriggers with light tackle. Fishing rods are equipped
with level-wind reels, or for the more adventures angler,
with our West Coast style single action, knuckle buster reels.

Charters in Sidney are generally 4 to 6 hours in duration,
with a minimum of 4 hours. The best times are
early mornings or late afternoons.
