The cottage sits high on a point and you have 270 degree unobstructed view of the ocean. You have a water view from every window in this cottage. The wide verandahs, large yard and screen porch offer endless options for enjoying that ocean view. The Dining area has a sliding door opening to the verandah and lots of windows . Although cosy for a couple, it can seat 8 to 10 easily. This Kid's bedroom has single bunks and a double futon sofabed. This room has satellite TV with DVD and VCR so the kids can get away and watch their shows while the adults enjoy the Great Room. This is one of two similar bedrooms upstairs. They each have a single bed and are furnished in that nostalgic cottage look.
The Great Room has a two story ceiling and walls of windows. It opens onto the screen porch and the ocean is literally at your doorstep. The Master bedroom upstairs is a calm and serene oasis with a king size bed, vaulted pine ceiling and a full ensuite bath. You see only the ocean from both sets of windows, and the impression you have when in this room is that you are on the ocean itself. Ensuite bath. The kitchen is fully equipped to make your holiday cooking an easy and pleasant experience. It is spacious and opens to the Dining area. The desk in the kitchen has an internet connection and a FAX machine. One of the great things to do at the cottage is enjoy the screen porch.
There is a separate laundry room with washer and dryer and a clothesline outside for beach towels, etc. Kids enjoy their own playhouse and swings. We provide beach and yard toys, games, videos, books and crafts. Everyone enjoys strolling the quiet cottage lanes, and the children love to bike. We have two adult bikes and three children's bikes available. A busy day on the beach, which is private to the cottage owners. You can see the Confederation Bridge in the background of the photo. The sun sets right off the verandah. Every night has a different, even more dramatic sunset. Keep your camera ready!
