Intarsia is
pictures created by cutting and fitting together numerous pieces of
wood using the natural grain and color for maximum effect, only a
clear finish is used.

My very first attempt at Intarsia, made with Pine & Spruce,
and is 9" long.
It is now permanently attached to the wall in our main washroom.

Backboard was Oak, horse was Spruce with Walnut mane/tail, and

Mostly made from Spruce with a Darina horn, and a touch of
Walnut for the eye.

These two were made to be a
matched pair.
The Female Unicorn is 6"X6" (excluding horn)
and the male is 7"X7". Both are made with
Maple, Spruce, Kab, Hub & Duk, with a Darina horn.
