Finnicky

This mature mare was aquired for breeding purposes by Tadpole Farm three years ago. She has shown herself to be a success in this venture, having given us two fine colts by Menuhin, see George Enescu, and TF Kreisler, see also Young Stock., She had already produced a fine filly (Pearls) for a previous owner.

She does not have papers, but her breeding is believed to be FInal Pool (TB) X Legacy (Holsteiner). Both her sire and dam are known for their jumping ability. Her own jumping career was forshortened by an OCD condition in her hock, but she has been able to show that she has these same traits, and has remained sound.

"Fini" has recently started back in work, and has shown that she is still a good riding horse, with good manners, quick response to the aids, a generous movement, especially at the trot, suppleness, and readiness to accept a contact.

We think that she would suit a budget concious junior or amateur rider who wants to learn a good seat, improve their riding in general, whether it be in dressage, hunter/jumper, english pleasure, or trail riding. Call or email for price or further information.
