Blarney is a 7 year old Irish Sport Horse bay gelding by Flagmount King* (King of Diamonds**) out of a TB mare. He showed at Spruce Meadows in May (indoors) and had clear rounds in the 3'6" division. At his first major show at Edmonton Northlands in May (see picture below) he had clear rounds and got a 1st in the 1.2m jumper, and went on to take two ribbons in the same division at Spruce Meadows National in June with several clear rounds. He is considered to have open jumper potential and with the right rider should be ready to move up to 4'6" by the end of the year. Excellent conformation and temperament, X-Rays available.
Blarney is powerful, well balanced, handsome, uncomplicated to ride and a perfect gentleman to his groom. He has no vices, and as far as we know, has never been unsound.
Video and price available on request. Serious inquiries only please.
