First Gervantus II foal from Fantasia Dam line!

Sweet Rosmarin (Gervantus II out of Lark Ascending) aged 4 months

Welcome Sweet Rosmarin

Many will remember Amy's wonderfully talented and brave mare "Fantasia", winner of the Atco Dual Slalom at Spruce Meadows in 1994, and her daughter "Fan's Asia" - brave as six bears and every jump a "10", winner of the Talent Squad Class at Edmonton Northlands in 2003. Asia x Menuhin (ISH) produced gorgeous "Lark Ascending" who was bred last year to the super talented Gervantus II, Oldenberg (Grannus) imported into Canada by Marcus Wuthrich at Sigma warmbloods in Alberta. On April 20th Lark produced this beautifil filly who is named after the violin music by Fritz Kreisler, which Amy loved to play. For more information on Gervantus, pictures and video, check out the Gervantus page at Sigma Warmbloods' web-site, see our links page to click on the link. Rosie shows super correct conformation, friendy disposition, a very pretty head, and looks as though she will mature at 16+ hands.

Estrellita in Foal

With the same blood lines, Estrellita, one year younger than her sister Lark, is now in foal to Gervantus II and we will be surprised if she does not also produce a filly next year which would be Fantasia's fifth filly - a filly flush?

Sarah Marks did great work with Pagainini and George this year - see new videos

We were delighted that local rider Sarah Marks was able to ride Paganini and George for us for 2-3 months this summer. Sarah is a super rider with years of experience in three day eventing and show jumping, and the horses really seemed to take to her and show their worth - as seen in the videos embedded in our "horses for sale" page. Paganini was sold in late September to Ontario. George is keeping fit in the exerciser and on the lunge between riders, and is ready to start a show career with a long term partner.

Elvis is no longer with us

Elvis was euthenised August 9th after being with us for 17 years. It seemed the right thing to do. He had become weak and senile, and that indominatable free spirit that regarded the world as his to enjoy had gone. He passed away peacefully on the back lawn.Photo left was taken in November 2004. He will be remembered by his many friends in Kamloops, Vancouver and Squamish, which was his home town.Photo right taken this year.

Kittens!

Macie, one of our barn cats, produced six very cute kittens a few weeks ago. We found homes for all the kittens but one, who has been adopted into the house.
