Memorial Service and Celebration for Amy Dundas Head

There will be a memorial service, officiated by Tim Schindel, followed by a celebration of Amy's life at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 21st, outdoors at Tadpole Farm (East of Kamloops).

Welcome

The memorial service is open to everyone who feels connected to Amy. It is likely that we will not have enough chairs or refreshments. Thus if you are able to bring folding chairs, and something to eat or drink, that would be appreciated.

Directions from Vancouver

• Hwy 1 (Transcanada) east
• Around Hope, be sure to avoid turnoffs to Hwy 3 and Hwy 1 (careful--Hwy 1 exit says Kamloops). Essentially avoid turnoffs and you will be on Hwy 5 (Coquihalla)
• Pass through Kamloops and at the east end of town you will pass through 3-4 traffic lights, keep going east
• Exit on LaFarge Road, about 10-15 kilometers past the last traffic light.
• Cross over highway and Thompson River (you will be heading North towards the Lafarge cement plant) and you will T onto the Old Shuswap Road.
• Turn right at Old Shuswap Road.
• Go to Teal Road and turn right and you are there. (Teal Road is about 4-5 k. down Shuswap Road. It is just past the South Thompson Guest Ranch and immediately past Jardine Turf Farm).
• Park by barn if possible.
