July 2005 News from Tadpole Farm

Fan's Asia gave us another beautiful filly "Estrellita" on June 9th. Estrellita is full sister to Lark Ascending, now a flashy chestnut yearling. The photos above and below were taken and edited by Gail's cousin Dionne while visiting from Poole, England.

An exciting moment as Gail and Nicole are about to take Asia and Estrellita back to their field for the first time since the foaling on June 9 2005. At three weeks Estrellita shows some powerful muscle developing in the hind end!
Tadpole Farm Welcomes New Rider

Anna Oppermann is now in residence and working the horses daily. Anna has a dressage background. She is starting Paganini (3), continuing basic training for Grappelli (4), and develpoing Carmina's flat work. She has also started Fini (dam of George and Brad) back to riding work, as we decided not to breed her again this year. Fini loves the work, and will be offered for sale as a riding horse when we have seen a little more of what she can do.
Anna is also spending some time with yearlings Brad and Lark, and two year old George, and baby Estrellita
