Restricted Marine VHF
Operator Cert - Commercial (ROC-M)
This maritime radio course, offered in partnership with Terrace's Power & Sail
Squadron, teaches emergency radio procedures and everyday operating techniques
for you and your family. The course also prepares you for the Restricted
Operator Certificate (Maritime) with DSC Endorsement examination.
To operate the radio you need the certificate.

Boating Basics
This 8-hour Boating Basics course is a great way to learn or brush up on the
basic essentials of boating safety. This course will cover the essential
information and will review: marine rules of the road, safety equipment
regulations, navigational aids you need to know, anchoring basic, and much more.
Upon successful completion students will receive a Pleasure Craft Operator’s
Certificate; which is a mandatory requirement as of September 15, 2009 for every
boater.
