Revealing What The Scriptures Declare !

God said through the prophet Joel, "Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears; let the weak [small nations] say, I am strong.  Assemble yourselves, and come all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O' Lord.  Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. "Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great." (Joel 3:9-13).

The world will not be converted by preaching of the Gospel.  We cannot convert or change the world.  We are commanded to witness to all the world, to call out from amongst the world, those that will have and follow the True Christ. (see Acts 1:8, Matt. 24:14).

The Scriptures declare that this age will End in Apostasy.

St. Paul speaking of the last days said, "THIS know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Tim. 3:1-5.)

Again he said, "I CHARGE thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season [when they like it], out of season [when they don't like it], reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. "FOR THE TIME WILL COME WHEN THEY WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; AND THE SHALL TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH, AND SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABLES." (2 Tim. 4:1-4.)

Martin Luther, the great reformer of the fifteenth century said, "Some say that before the latter days the whole world shall become Christian; this is a falsehood forged by Satan.'

Philip Melanchon who was a co-worker with Martin Luther said, "The True Church will always suffer persecution from the wicked.  In the church itself the good and evil will continue to blend together."

The sainted John Knox, the Scottish reformer and founder of the Presbyterian church, said concerning the world being converted by the preaching of the gospel, "never was nor yet shall be until the righteous king and judge appear for the restoration of all things."

Dr. Haldeman said, "Never in the history of the world had there been such a spectacle - the whole world under arms."

Crimes and terrorism's of every description are on the increase, the blackest of crimes, throughout the whole world.  The poet Pollock said, "Meanwhile the earth increased in wickedness, and hastened daily to fill her cup.  Satan raged loose, sin had her will, death enough."

Crime is on the rampage with very little law enforcement.  Robbery, murder, terrorism, rape and crimes of every description, being committed throughout the world today, and this is a fulfillment of prophecy.  The Lord said, "in the last days, dangerous times." Men commit the blackest of crimes and in a few months or years go free to rob, murder, terrorize and rape innocent victims again!

The hands of the policemen are tied. Many of them, when trying to enforce the law, are attacked by the criminals.  The Supreme Court, instead of interpreting the law, seems to be making new laws - laws that will protect the criminals.  What does it mean?  It is a sign of the Last Days.

"Woe to the inhibitors of the earth, of sea, for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath because he knoweth that, he hath but a short time." The devil is the Prince of this world. Three times in the Gospel of St. John, Jesus calls Satan the prince of this world.  (See John 12-31, 14:30)

Some people think that Satan 'is in the pits of hell." Some even preach that he is bound. This is not so. Satan is very much loose, seeking whom he may devour.  He can change identities very quickly. Sometimes he comes as a roaring lion, or he may come to YOU as a serpent, or he may appear as a minister of light.  (See 2 Cor. 11.)

Satan is the author of sin, death, and disease.  He is  the author of wars. He is next in power to God.

Paul said, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Read Eph. 6:10-18.)

The devil knows his time is short. He is stirring up race and religious hatred throughout the world today. He is organizing his forces, stirring up the kings of the earth in the whole world, preparing for another world-wide war.  "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty." (Rev. 16:13,14.)

We are on the brink of that war now. America will not be warned in advance.

It will be a sneak attack, like that of Pearl Harbor (though these words were written more than two decades ago, consider this message in light of the events of Sept. 11, 2001.)

"For When they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction  cometh upon them, as travail upon a women with child; and they shall not escape." ( 1 Thess. 5:3.)

Haldman said, "There will be world-wide war, the battle lines will  be flung around the circumference of the earth. there will not be a spot on the globe where the tramp of armed men shall not be heard and the roar of conflict filling the air. It will not be the battle of mere armies, forays and predatory expeditions, but the rush of nation against nation, race against  race and religion against religion"

The whole earth shall be filled with violence  Lawlessness shall be multiplied. Not only the lawlessness that shall violate all national and international pledges and look upon a treaty as no more than a scrap of paper, but lawlessness in social and individual life.

Because of the breaking down and throwing to the winds of old standards people will be in a state of revolt not only against kings and rulers, but against conditions.  They will rush like the rushing of seas.  Unrest, torment and turmoil will sweep like tidal waves bursting over all distinctions between rich and poor, capital and labor.  The rich will become the prey of the mob.

The accumulated wealth in the hands of the few will be seized and scattered like grains of sand.  As it is written, "Go to now ye rich men, weep and wail the miseries that are coming upon you.  Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth eaten.  Your gold and silver are covered with rust, and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh like fire, Ye have stored up treasure for the last days."

"There shall be distress." - Famine shall be abroad, not local famine, but world-wide, gaunt faces and starving multitudes.

Everywhere the cry for bread, young and old dying for want of food.  Green-eyed plagues and pestilence's will walk  hand in hand with famine and drought, the plagues, pestilence's and diseases that will rise ghoul-like from the unburied dead of battle, the poison floating through the air, speeding on its way at midnight, and wasting at noonday.

The whole atmosphere will be contaminated by the poison.

"For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle." (Zech. 14:2-3.)

"And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem, Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and the eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth." (Zech. 14:12.)

"He that is in the field shall die with the sword, he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him. COME near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. The slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcasses, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgement.  The sword of the Lord is filled with blood..." (Isa. 34:1-6.)

Speaking of this War, the Lord said, "WHO is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah?  This that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength?  I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?  I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come." ( lsa. 63:1-4)

During this war a river of human blood will flow horses bridle deep, for the space of two hundred miles.  (See Rev. 14:20.)

Seiss says, "It is the great winepress of the wrath of God. it is the last consummate act of destruction which is to end this present world.  It is the great and dreadful day of the Lord about which all the prophets of all the ages prophesied.  It is the result the resentment and anger of him who is faithful and true, who in righteousness doth judge and make war, whose  eyes are as fire, on whose head are many crowns, whom all the armies of heaven follow upon white horses out of whose mouth goeth a sharp sword."

No tongue can describe the horrors and suffering of those Left Behind and who live to see World War Three. As sure as God is in heaven, and His Word is true, it is coming, coming soon.

All who have trodden under foot, the Son of God and have counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, as an unholy thing, will have to drink the filthy blood of wicked men, in the great Tribulation period.  (See Rev. 16:6.)

Ah yes, men in their unbelief may laugh at the Almighty's threatening, because His sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily.

"Be not deceived, God is not mocked, Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. The harvest of wickedness is overripe.-" (See Rev. 16:14, 15, Vs. 20.)

The only thing that keeps the bombs from falling at this time, and the Antichrist from being revealed is the restraining power of the True Holy Spirit.  Paul said, "NOW we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us as that the day of Christ is at hand. let know man deceive you by any  means: for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?  And now ye know what with-holdeth that he might be revealed in his time.  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who letteth will let, until he [Holy Spirit] be taken out of the way.  And then shall that Wicked one be revealed, who the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they a might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2 Thess. 2:1-12.)

We see in verse seven the mystery of lawlessness, the spirit and power of the antichrist is already at work.  Until he, the True Holy Spirit, be taken away, and then shall that lawless one, the Antichrist, be physically revealed. When the Antichrist is revealed, the great Tribulation begins.

When the Great Tribulation begins, the bombs will begin to fall.

The war will increase in intensity.  Some of the effects of this war are described in the second chapter of Joel.  He tells us in verse three that the land will be as a garden of Eden before them, a fruitful place with vegetation and fruit, and a desolate wilderness behind, which proves that where the bombs fall all vegetation and fruit will be destroyed, resulting in the greatest famine and rationing that has ever been in the world as described in the sixth chapter of Revelation, verse five.

Here we see one will work a whole day for a loaf of bread.  The balances in the right hand of him that sits on the black horse signifies that food will be rationed and weighed, and will be issued by measure to the people.

This war will be accompanied by fearful signs in the heaven and the earth.  Joel said, "And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come." (Joel 2:30-31.)

This is also affirmed by Jesus when He said, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken." (Matt. 24:29.)  Again Jesus said, "All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Matt. 24:8.)

As the bombs fall there will be one earthquake after another.  The heavenly planets and the earth will be shaken from their orbits when the bombs  explode.  The Lord said, "Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger." (Isa. 13:13.)

"Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O' inhabitants of the earth.  An it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit and he that cometh up out the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations the earth do shake. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.  The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; an the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again." (lsa. 24:17-20.)

When the bottomless pit is opened demons from hell in the form of locusts will come forth to torment men, and in those days men shall seek death and shall not find it.  They shall desire to die and death shall flee from them.

See Revelation, ninth chapter Jesus said, "For then shall be great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: But for the Elect's sake, those days shall be shortened." (Matt. 24:21-22.)

Dear friend, now is the time to lay up your treasures in heaven.  Now is your time to prove your love for the Lord by giving to the Lord's End Times Ministries, Outreaches and Missions that are reaching, teaching and saving souls.  Very soon your money will be worthless.

“They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity.” (Ezek. 7:19.)

Do not let false ambassadors of peace deceive you by crying, “Peace, Peace,” when there is no peace. (See Ezek. 13:10.).

We may have peace in our heart by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ (see John 14:27). But there will be no peace in the world until Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, returns and sets up His Glorious Kingdom on this earth. He will come for His True and Faithful Bible Believing Church before the bombs begin to fall. I believe He will come before World War Three. That means He could come any day, any hour.

No man knows the day or the hour. But we know about the time of His coming, for our Lord said through the apostle Paul, “But ye brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should over-take you as a thief.”  (1 Thess. 5:4.)

God saved righteous Noah and his family from the flood when they entered the ark. When He was about to destroy Sodom He said to Lot, “Haste thee, escape thither, for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither.” (Gen. 19:22.)

Jesus said, “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage until the day that Noe entered into the ark and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” (Luke 17:26-30.)

We see in verse twenty-nine, the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. And the Lord said it would be like this when He is revealed. So we understand from the Scripture that the Holy Ghost, who is the restraining power in the True Church, takes us out to meet the Lord in the air; then the bombs or fire will fall from heaven.

Lot, who is a type of the True Church, was Obedient, Ready and Prepared. He escaped the judgment of God which was sent upon Sodom and Gomorrah, but his wife, who is a type of the unsaved, or of the worldly, apostate professing Christian, was "Left Behind" when, in her rebellion and disobedience, she tarried, hesitated and looked back . She wasn't prepared to let go of the worldly things. She perished and became a pillar of salt.

Dear friends, if we want to escape the judgments of God and the World War, our Lord has told us how we may do it.

Jesus said, “AND TAKE HEED TO YOUR-SELVES, lest at any time your heart be over-charged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” (Luke 21:34.)

Let Us Pray Together--

PRAY: "God be merciful to me a sinner. Receive me now for Christ's sake. Cleanse me from my sin by your precious blood, shed on the cross for me; lead me to be Baptized and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Teach me to pray each day; to read Your will for my life from your word, the Bible; and help me to worship and serve You in the fellowship of your church. I thank you Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN!
