Revealing The "Come Up Hither" Of Revelations

I Heard A Voice Saying "Come Up Hither!".

"After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter." (Rev. 4:1)

The Revelation of Jesus Christ was given to the apostle John while he was a prisoner on the lonely island of Patmos. John was banished there for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ, under the reign of the Emperor Domitan, about 95 A.D.

The Roman Government used this island as a place of banishment for criminals. This little barren, volcanic island in the Aegean Sea is between twenty and thirty miles from the mainland of Asia Minor.

In the first three chapters of the Book of Revelation we have the True Church and the False Church. The False Church is a church in name only.

The True Church is made up of all believers who are truly repentant, have been water baptized and are washed in the Blood in and out of all denominations. The False Church is made up of those who are Christian in name only. The False Church is a totally Apostate church, a Counterfeit church, an imitation of the Real True Church. Both are in the world today.

The True Church is looking for the Coming of Jesus, and is ready for His coming. "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready." (Rev. 19:7.)

The False Church is teaching that the world will get better. They are not looking for the Coming of Jesus. They are represented by the Laodiceans who have put Christ out of their church and have substituted a false gospel of selfish pleasures, materialism and worldly entertainment.

The Laodiceans are the people who are building luxurious church buildings and are boasting about their riches, while hundreds of millions in heathen lands have never heard the precious name of Jesus Christ.

The False Church will continue to function as an easy-going, self-satisfied organization.  In verse 20 Christ says:  "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

This verse shows our Lord standing outside the False Church - trying to get in! It is not a text for the unsaved.  It is our Lord's text to the Apostate False Church of the last days, just before His return.  Here we find the False Church all gathered together as one-rich in buildings and increased in goods, having need of nothing.  But the False Church is operating without Christ's presence.

This False Laodicean church is self centered.

They do not care about the lost souls of the world. They do no care about the heathen in the dark lands. They deny the reality of Hell, they deny Bible Prophecy, the second coming of Christ and the power of God.

Those who are the truly repentant, the water baptized, cleansed in the blood of Jesus, and filled with His True Holy Spirit (See: Acts 2: 37-39) are branded by this False Church as a bunch of Fanatics or heretics.

The True Church is represented by the wise virgins who have oil in their vessels. The False Church is represented by the foolish virgins. (Matt. 25th chap.)

The True Church will leave the earth at the close of the Third Chapter of the Book of Revelation, and will go in at the open door in Chapter Four verse one. Here is where we see the door open in heaven. Here is where we hear the voice of Jesus saying, "Come up hither". It is the sound of a trumpet, it is the voice of the Lord.

He opens the door in heaven and comes down to this earth with a shout. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (I Thess. 4:16-18.)

This is what we call the Rapture or the Catching Away of the True Saints. This is when the Lord comes as a thief in the night to the True and Faithful Bible Believing Church but not to those of the world, who will be Left Behind.

"But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief." (I Thess. 5:1-4.) "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." (Rev. 16:15.)

The dead in Christ shall rise first, and the living saints will be changed and go to meet the Lord in the air: "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." (I Cor. 15:51, 52.)

The rapture of the True Church will take place all over the world at the same time. The worldly, the unsaved and the False Church, will be "Left Behind" and not know anything about it until after the true saints are gone.

"I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together." (Luke 17:34-37.)

As soon as the True Church is caught out of this world the antichrist takes over, and shortly the fiery judgments of God begin to be poured out upon this Christ-rejecting world.

God has never brought destruction upon the world without first warning His people. Noah and his family were saved in the Ark when the flood destroyed the world. Lot was saved from Sodom and Gomorrah before God destroyed the wicked city. So there was an ark for Noah and his family to save them from the flood. There was a mountain top for Lot to save him from the destruction of Sodom. Jesus warned the True and Faithful Christians in the early church to flee to the mountains when they saw Jerusalem encompassed with armies. History tell us that the True and Faithful Christians fled out of the city to Pela (Petra) before Titus destroyed the city of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. (See Luke 21:20-21)

Jesus said: "Remember Lot's wife." Lot's wife was typical of the False Church, Christians in name only. She loved the pleasures of the world, of wicked Sodom better than she did the things of God. Her mind was not on seeking the Lord and obeying His commands. Like a lot of professing Christians today, she loved the world.

The Lord said, "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory." (Col. 3:1-4.)

Our Citizenship is in heaven while we wait for the coming of our Lord. "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." (Phil. 3:20, 21.)

In the Fifth Chapter of Revelation, theTrue Church is in Heaven, Singing the Song of the Redeemed around the throne of God. "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof, for thou wast slain, and has redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands," (Rev. 5:9-11.)

A vast company of the Redeemed, the Tribulation Martyrs, that come from all nations, kindred and tongues, who refused the Mark Of the Beast, who refused to worship the antichrist, (Rev. Chap. 13) who have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. They are innumerable, ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands. (See Dan. 7:10.)

In the Fifth Chapter of Revelation we see Jesus, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, taking the book out of the hand of him that sits upon the throne. This sealed book is a Title Deed to this Earth. No one can open this sealed book except the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Jesus Christ our friend and redeemer. While we are in Heaven with the Lord, in the Fifth Chapter of the book of Revelation, meanwhile the antichrist comes in the Sixth Chapter. He comes on a white horse, that is an emblem of peace, but it is a false peace. He comes to conquer and deceive by false religion. He comes to power by promising every one everything they want and desire. (See Dan. 8:24, 25. Dan. 11:24)

Soon the horse changes color from white to red. This is where the bloody war begins in its fullness. Then the horse changes from red to black, which is the world's worst famine. Then changes from black to pale, when a third of the population of the earth will be slain by the beasts of pestelence and disease.

All the plagues we read about in the book of Revelation from the sixth to the eighteenth chapters, will be poured out on this Christ-rejecting world, after the True Church is caught out. The True Church is not seen upon this earth after the close of the third chapter until she comes back in the nineteenth chapter and reigns with Christ. The reign of Christ with His True Church upon this earth is related in the twentieth chapter, which will be for one thousand years.

The True Church goes up into heaven before the great tribulation, the Laodicean, False Church goes into the great tribulation. The True Church goes up, the False Church stays down and goes out, out into the bloodiest war this world has ever known.

Friends, are you looking for the door open in heaven? Are you listening to hear the voice of the blessed Son of God, say, "Arise my love, my fair one and come away."? (See Song of Solomon 2:13)

The True Church is not looking for the antichrist. He cannot be revealed until after the Holy Ghost takes the True Church out of this world. "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming " (2 Thess. 2:7-8.)

"Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for the iniquity: the earth shall also disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain." (Isa. 26:19-21.)

Dear Friends, do you love Jesus? Are you ready for His coming? Do you want to live eternally in a home where there is no trouble, sickness or death?

You have a Three-Fold Invitation whoever you are, to take of the water of life freely.

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (Rev. 22:17.)

The True Holy Spirit is calling you, the True and Faithful Bible Believing Church is calling you, The True Jesus is calling you.

Will you accept Him now? Are you ready for His coming? Can you say, “Even so Come, Lord Jesus?”

Let Us Pray Together--

PRAY: "God be merciful to me a sinner. Receive me now for Christ's sake. Cleanse me from my sin by your precious blood, shed on the cross for me; lead me to be Baptized and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Teach me to pray each day; to read Your will for my life from your word, the Bible; and help me to worship and serve You in the fellowship of your church. I thank you Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN!
