(0) comments Tuesday, October 14, 2008  Over the past few days Jacob's vocabulary has really started to explode! We still don't know what he's saying half the time, but he sure talks a lot! Up until now his words included dog, duck and mum mum. He has recently added mama, dada, down, up, cat (dat) and our personal favourite ... mana mana! In addition to talking he is able to sign a few things to help him communicate. He has mastered he signs for more, all done, stars, book, bath, toothbrush and ball. It's amazing to me that this little creature can communicate so effectively with so few words. Now we can't even walk near the computer without him running towards it like a crazy man pointing and laughing. In the morning after he wakes up and we come downstairs, he heads for the office! It's amazing how busy I have been while on maternity leave ... which, sadly is coming to an end on Monday. I've already delayed and then delayed again as I was supposed to return to work the first week of July. I've loved my time off with Jacob. I can't think of a better person to get to hang out with every day. I've uploaded some new videos ... which you can find HERE.
