The Silk Project is a small boutique featuring clothing and jewelry designed by well known artist Joanna Staniszkis. Rich textures and glorious colors are the trademark of her work.

Joanna travels the world in pursuit of the finest in hand woven silks and linens, and softest of wools.

The design process continues in the artist’s Vancouver studio where these fabrics are magically transformed through the laborious ancient processes of hand dying, hand printing, discharging or pleating.

Each item is a unique, one of a kind art piece which should be worn with joy, confidence and pride. Enjoy the work of a dedicated artist who is passionate about her craft!
