Goals
Working in groups of 3 or 4, you will be required to research one of the world's biomes: Tundra, Taiga, Rain Forests, Coniferous Forests, Deciduous Forests, Deserts, Fresh Water, Marine, and Grasslands. As an employee of the "Lonely Plant" Travel Corp. you will responsible for collecting information about its plants, animals, climate, and location. As part of your job, you will be required to create a travel brochure, poster, or magazine report that illustrates the unique characteristics of each biome.
In order to fulfill the jobs requirements your team must collect the following information:

identify the location of the biome in the world

identify the land forms that are common to your biome

identify the main types of plants found in the biome

identify the different types of animals found in the biome

establish the type of climate found in your biome

develop your personal opinion on the benefits and drawbacks to vacationing in the biome

describe ecological concerns and conservation efforts in your biome
