The Thrift Store Guide for B.C. is the brainchild of a local White Rock senior, Collene Ford.
In earlier years, she has been a wife, mother, banker, teacher, home
business owner and entrepreneur. Collene has always been a proponent of
Recycling, Reusing, Reducing and Sharing. In recent years, she finds the
time to volunteer in the community for several hours each week.
During 2008, this author has been busy updating
her 1st edition. Relocating to White Rock has been a major event and very
time consuming so the updating of the book had to be put on the back burner
for awhile. Hopefully, this year, 2009, will see a new updated 2nd edition
available. Will keep you posted!
