Peacefully, at the Peace Arch Hospital in Surrey, British Columbia, in his 82nd year, with his family by his side, on April 18, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Throop (née Whitaker). Dear father of Leslie Reid and her husband Philip, Michael Throop and his wife Mary, and MaryAnne Throop Boland and her husband Reinhard. Cherished grandfather of David and Daniel. A Memorial Service in his honour will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, 2241 New St. (at Drury Lane), Burlington, Ont. (905-637-5233).
