My living room is pretty cool. Yes, the walls in the top picture are burgundy. It is very warm looking and comfortable. Notice the angle of the wall on the main wall. This angled wall follows through the living room into the bedroom. Which is angled on both ends of the room. The walls use plaster instead of drywall.
