Daily Schedule


 

Morning:        Children arriving, Hand washing, Breakfast (if did not have at home), Supervised

                     Free play, Planned Activity

 

Mid-morning:  Diaper change / potty / toileting, Hand Washing, get ready for Snack, Morning

                     Snack, Outdoor Activity, Hand washing once back inside, Planned Activity

 

Noon:            Diaper change / potty / toileting, Hand Washing, get ready for Lunch, Lunch,

                     Naptime / Rest time (For children who do not nap, they may rest on their mats

                     or partake in a quiet activity.)

 

Mid-afternoon: Diaper change / potty / toileting, Hand Washing, get ready for Snack, 

                      Afternoon Snack, Outdoor Activity, Hand washing once back inside, Planned 

                      ActivitySupervised Free Play, Planned Activity (approximately

                      ˝ hour before pick-up time) – Quiet play (such as reading a book) to help the

                      child get ready for pick-up by the Parent(s).

 

5:30 p.m.:       Pick-up time

 

·         Each day the Caregiver will allow time for:

                              - Supervised Free Play in a prepared environment.

                              - Transitions (i.e. between clean-up and snack time).

                              - Planned (Indoor) activities each day.

                              - Outdoor Play (Free Play and Planned activities) in the morning

                                 and afternoon (weather permitting), as children need plenty of

                                 physical activity and fresh air.

·         The Caregiver will be flexible with the Daily Schedule and try to follow the children's individual schedules for eating and naptime (as long as this information has been provided by the Parent(s) ahead of time).

·         The Caregiver will consider children’s interests, attention span, abilities,    developmental stages and preferences when planning our day.

plans to meet the child(ren)’s needs. ***
