February 28, 2005	The short story I entered in an "Explain that Picture" contest won the prize for creativity. It's called "A Testament to Love", and you can read it here.

October 21, 2003	I've moved my website here to its new home. As part of the move, I've corrected or removed several dead links, and updated some of my pages.
February 19, 2003	At the 2002 Surrey International Writers' Conference, Jack Whyte and Diana Gabaldon announced their donation of a (substantial!) prize for a new writing contest. I decided to write a little song as a sort of thanks and tribute to them for their generosity. You can read the lyrics here. (And my reaction to the entire conference is still here.)
February 13, 2003	Dr. Bob Rich ran a humourous writing contest in his newsletter, Bobbing Around, and I won a prize! My winning entry was The Purpose of the Breast on the Human Female.
