• I have a complete understanding of the technical capabilities of Smallworld technology, and the typical costs required to implement the core technology and advanced applications such as Design Manager and PowerOn.

Requirements Assessment

• I can evaluate the requirements of your users to determine a Smallworld solution that suits your needs without being over-engineered.
• Often, the best solution is a combination of off-the-shelf Smallworld products and custom-developed applications using Smallworld's rich Magik development language. I will help you identify the buy-or-build approach that will satisfy your requirements.

Application Design and Development

• With nine years of Smallworld Magik design and development experience at sites across North America, I have the ability to turn your GIS vision into reality, custom-tailored to meet your needs
• My past experience includes key roles in the development of both the Design Manager and PowerOn products, so I have a very fundamental knowledge of how to customize these products to work for you.

Mentoring

• If you have your own Smallworld development team assembed, but would like to improve their capabilities and experience, I can provide regular "house calls" to help your team get up to speed.
• Design reviews and code reviews will help ensure that your team makes the best possible use of the available Smallworld technology.
