A Deluxe heated training facility built for the purpose !
At TNT we offer a wide variety of training classes, or one on one private lessons. Our purpose built training center has fully rubber matted floors, jumps, mirrors, a washroom and is heated. Our classes are based on positive reinforcement and come highly recommended by veterinarians and breeders alike. We do not take dogs in for training. YOU learn how to train your own dog. He needs to learn how to respond to you, not us.

General Training Information
All family pet obedience classes run for 6 weeks. The class is one hour long. The cost (cash or cheque only) is $115 (GST INCLUDED). There are usually 5 to 9 students per class. All particpating dogs must have Parvo and Distemper vaccines that are current within a 3 year period. Rabies vaccines must be current within a 3 year period, and Bordettela (for kennel cough) must be current within a 1 year period. Puppies under 6 months old are exempt from requiring a rabies vaccine. Classes are run year round, and they do fill very quickly so early registration is suggested.
Our instructors at TNT are all multiple dog owners. Their lives and activities revolve around their dogs and have for the past 20 years. They are breeders & competitors and we are fortunate to have them to share their expansive knowledge with us at TNT. Our instructors also attend seminars thru-out the year to keep their training skills up to date.

Puppy Kindergarten / Socialization
Year round - Call for start dates
This class is recommended for puppies between the ages of 9 weeks old to 6 months old. If you have a larger breed we recommend you start by 9-10 weeks old, and usually no later than 4 months old. Smaller breeds are often more comfortable starting classes between 3-6 months of age. Please call us to discuss what would be best for your puppy.
Puppy class concentrates on basic manners skills, and also encourages socialization with the other puppies and class members, as well as children. An obstacle course is set up one evening to build confidence as well as fun, fun, fun! We are here to answer your training questions as your puppy developes into a young adult.
Basic Pet Obedience / Intro to Agility

This class is for adult dogs of any age and focuses on how to achieve basic manner skills such as stay, heeling, meet and greet, along with other exercises to build teamwork and to keep learning fun. At the end of class, your dog is introduced to a new piece of agility equipment as time allows.
Advanced Pet Obedience
Year round - Call for start dates
This class is recommended after completion of our basic class, or for canines with some solid obedience skills. Dogs are now excepted to perform at a higher level. Hand signals, tricks, introduction to the Canine Good Neighbour program are some of the exercises covered. This is an excellent class as a prelude to any beginner agility class, or for those that really enjoy working and training their dogs.
RALLY O Classes - new at TNT !

Rally course is 6 weeks long - one hour class - 5 students per class
$135 GST included
For teams who have completed the advanced obedience class and are wanting to continue to improve both their obedience skills and strengthen their bond with their pet. Rally obedience is a combination of both fun obedience and some agility mixed in. Dog and handlers will learn the rules of the AKC Rally and also some of the CARO (Canadian Association of Rally Obedience) rules. Classes are taught by Karen Brearley an approved CKC Rally judge and competitor, come to TNT and train with the best! Be prepared to have FUN! Purbreds and mixed breeds welcome.
Competition CKC/AKC Obedience to the highest levels
(Pre-Novice, Novice, Open, and Utility competition classes or private lessons are available.)
Year round - Call for start dates
Competition classes are TNT are taught by 3 different instructors depending on what level you sign up for. Each instructor is an active competitor themselves, and they have been involved with competition training & showing for numerous years. Classes are held on Tuesday evening, Wednesday daytime and Wednesday evening. Please contact us at tntkennels@telus.net to find out start dates, costs and which level is held on what day. TNT teaches only the most up to date training methods.
Private Lessons
Private consultation is available on an hourly based fee. Lessons may be for behavioral problems, competition training, or how to achieve a well behaved pet. Lessons may be for either puppies or adult dogs. Private lessons based on an hourly rate of $50-$55 (gst included) Sorry no house visits, all lessons done at TNT only.
