Guy Tomash has been practicing the Traditional Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan for more than 20 years. He began his instruction in 1983 from the Alberta Tai Chi Chuan Cultural and Recreation Association under the direction of the late Master Mak Ying Po, and received most of his training with one of Master Mak's senior students, Andy Wong. Mak Ying Po was one of Tung Ying Chieh's senior students, and studied with him for over 20 years. Tung Ying Chieh was among the top disciples of the famous Yang Cheng Fu. Guy Tomash is thankful for his opportunity to learn this wonderful art, and is dedicated to sharing and carrying on the traditions of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan as he was taught.

This is an ongoing class which teaches the Traditional 108 movement Long Form of the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan. Classes have mixed levels and are on an ongoing basis. There is also a free practice session on Sunday mornings for intermediate and advanced students. For more information please contact Guy Tomash at guytomash@shaw.ca, or by phone at 604-671-3579.

New classes start March 1st. Beginners can start at anytime and progress at their own speed.  Classes are held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Visitors are welcome.
