Top Shelf AAA Hockey is pleased to host the 5th Annual Michael Gee Memorial Pond Hockey Tournament and Geezer shinny game. This fun tournament is an opportunity for people to get together, remember Mike, play some pond hockey and help raise money for the Michael Gee Trust Fund.

We are also hosting a wind up BBQ on Saturday the 20th after the last ice time. The BBQ is open to players, family, friends etc of all ages. It will be at the Arbour Lake community center on Saturday June 20th from 7-11pm. To order tickets click here: Gee BBQ
2009 Pond Hockey Tournament Event Details
Note: Registration deadline is May 20 2009
2 age divisions + a G'eezer game for the old guys.
Teams will be made up from registrations received.
Each group will play in a half day pond hockey tournament on Saturday June 20th 2009.
4 teams per tourney (max of 36 skaters and 4 goalies per group). Each team will play 4 games.

Starts 8:00AM. Gold medal game ends at 11:30pm

Players born 1990 and before
A shinny game for all the "old' guys.
Starts 3:45 and ends at 5:00 pm
General Information
Each player will get a jersey to keep and play in 4 pond hockey games. (excluding the Geezers) .
Players must register as individuals. Teams will be set by Topshelf AAA Hockey based on skill / division level played in Minor hockey (Geezers: no, we will not expect you to remember that far back!) . We will try to accommodate requests for players to be on the same team, however in order to ensure a competitive and balanced event we cannot promise all requests will be honored.
The tournament takes place at the Crowfoot Arena .
The games are pond hockey format. This is a non contact event and is open to players of all skill levels.
Full equipment for all groups is required. Players over the age of 18 can play with out a face mask, but must have a helmet and protective gear.
Proceeds will be donated to the Michael Gee Trust fund

Entry Fee
$ 55.00 per player
Please note: this tournament sells out very quickly. Please mail or drop off your registration and payment as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Spots will be sold based on first come first serve with payment received.
Tournament Sponsorship
Interested in helping us offset the cost of the tournament? Please note that all donations must be confirmed by March 15, 2009.
A) Bronze Level: Donate $250-$499 to the tournament and receive your company name listed on the jersey, the web site and program.
B) Silver Level: Donate $500-$1000 to the tournament and receive 1 player entry and your company name listed on the jersey, the web site and program.
C) Gold Level : Donate $1200 or more to the tournament and receive up to 3 player entries and your company name listed on the jersey, the web site and program
