A
few words about me...
I have been a Toronado fan since the first one came out of the assembly line, in the fall of 1965. They were so different in body style that I was hooked on the spot. It was their aero-dynamic body shape with their long hood and short back end, that first attracted me. I got seriously involved with these cars after I bought my first one in early seventies. I have tried to rescue as many of them as possible from the crusher, but unfortunately some were too far gone. If I could own only one of them, I would choose a '67, luckily, I have room for a few more. I have been a member of the Oldsmobile Club of America and the Toronado Chapter for over 20 years, as well as a charter member of the BC Olds Club. Every year, under the sponsorship of Wolfe Chevrolet Oldsmobile, the BC Olds Club organizes the Show 'n Shine car meet in North Vancouver, Canada. |
