VANCOUVER CRUISE GUIDE RECEPTIVE SERVICES:

To make your embarkation or disembarkation procedure from the cruise ship go smoothly, we recommend reserving our experienced escorted group transfer "to any Point"* service for the 2012 Vancouver-Alaska Cruise terminal.

Cruiseship embarkation, information & last minute cruise specials:

The Vancouver Cruise ship terminals are located at Canada Place and at the Ballantyne Pier.
Embarkation starts around 11 a.m. and lasts until 3.30-4.00 P.M.
If you are flying to Vancouver on the day of the Cruise departure, make sure you get to Vancouver
not later than 2.30 PM.
Most Cruiseships pull the gangplank by 5.00 p.m.

Canada Customs Vancouver airport procedures:

It takes a minimum of 30 to 40 minutes to clear Canada Customs at the Vancouver airport and it takes about 30 minutes to travel from the airport to the Vancouver Cruiseship terminals. From the Vancouver airport there are multiple modes of transportation to the Cruiseship terminals:
Via Skytrain on the Canada line, which as of today barely functions, via Taxi or
via our Vancouver Port Adventures fast track airport meet and greet service.

Canada land Border from Washington State:

From the I-5 Northbound follow the signs to the Pacific Truck border crossing.
Follow the signs and indications to the Canadian border. Have passports and Custom forms ready and proceed to the Canada Customs Border officers. Try to leave from Seattle in the morning so that you arrive at the Canadian border by 10 a.m. It takes 3-4 hours to drive from Seattle to Vancouver.
