Nonstop Service Between Seattle and Kamloops / Sun Peaks

Horizon Air (operated by Alaska Air) begins new, twice-daily non-stop service from Seattle to Kamloops, B.C., starting December 15, 2003.  The new flights will mark the first ever transborder service between Kamloops and the U.S.

Australia is One Stop Closer to Sun Peaks
Sun Peaks Resort is proud to announce that Qantas Airways Limited in partnership with Alaska Air/Horizon Air have agreed to provide excellent low fares from Australia into Kamloops Airport for this coming winter. This new routing will be from Sydney to Los Angeles and from LA to Kamloops, BC (via Seattle).

Located 45 minutes from Kamloops in BC's Interior, Sun Peaks is easily accessible from both Vancouver (4 ½ hours) and Seattle (5 ½ hours) on the scenic four lane Coquihalla Highway, from Banff (6 ½ hours) on the Trans Canada Highway, and from Jasper (5 hours) on the Yellowhead Highway. Kamloops Airport is serviced by two airlines, and there are regular shuttles from other resorts in B.C.
