rides! Trail rides are perfect for the whole family and are a great way to see
the area. Horseback riding experience is not required and is perfect for all

levels of fitness at Sun Peaks. River RaftingSun Peaks Resort is pleased to offer whitewater rafting in conjunction with the Adams River Rafting Company and Interior Whitewater Expeditions. Both companies provide all necessary equipment. Whitewater packages are available for the novice to the more experienced. Come and experience the exhilaration of whitewater rafting! Voyageur Canoe ToursJoin us for a two-and-a half hour adventure into the past with a qualified authentic voyageur guide, in our 27 replica voyageur canoe. The NorthWest Voyageur Company Inc. offers guided voyageur canoe trips 7 days a week emulating a day in the life of a voyageur on the scenic Heffley Lake. All equipment and transportation is provided including an authentic voyageur guide. Come and take a trip into the past and relive the majesty of the fur trade. This adventure is suitable for all ages and abilities. All necessary equipment will be provided. We provide complimentary transportation to the lake. Trips run three times daily from June 1st to October 15th. Trips depart from the Village Day Lodge at 12:00pm, 4:30pm, and 7:00pm. Custom Departures can be arranged. Sun Peaks is now offering canoe lesson on Heffley Lake. Canoe lessons are
approximately 2 hours long and include extensive instructions in canoe safety,
and paddling techniques. Canoe lesson take place daily at 12:00 pm and depart
from the Village Day Lodge. Scenic Nature Boat CruisesCome and see the beauty of the surrounding area
by boat with local guide Daimion Applegath. While on the cruise, guests will
have the opportunity to photograph Loons, Ospreys, Herons and Eagles at
lakeside, and while on the drive to the lake, photography opportunities for
Moose, Mule Deer and other wildlife. Guided Fly FishingSun Peaks Resort is pleased to offer guided fly fishing to resort guests. Sun Peaks Resort currently has three fully qualified guides, and each guide offers a variety of different packages. Lift Access Mountain BikingThe summer 2005 Lift-Access Mountain Bike Season at Sun Peaks Resort promises to offer some of the best riding yet! Lift Access Hiking TrailsExplore flowered alpine meadows and scenic Tod Mountain Lake. Sun Peaks offers seven lift-access hiking trails that range in ability from easy to more challenging. Trails range in duration from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Explore flowered alpine meadows and scenic Tod Mountain Lake. Walkers and serious trekkers will find beauty and challenge amongst our groomed hiking trails. Enjoy the view from the charming mid-mountain cafe, the Sunburst restaurant. Bring your bike and have the thrill of riding down our network of single track trails. Incredible views for adventurers and ramblers alike. Ride the chair to 6000 feet, and let your legs take it from there!
Valley Walking TrailsExplore one of the three valley access walking trails that range in duration from 20 to 30 minutes, to as long as you like!
