Although Jim Moran did some good work in exposing certain cults such as Living Stream Ministry, The Local Church and Witness Lee, his understanding of Watchman Nee on several areas has some problems:
1) He never understood the dividing of our spirit, soul and body severely restricting his spiritual life, walking after the spirit. We are tripartite beings.
2) He never understood proper locality (Biblical locality) based on Scriptural cities, expressed by Watchman Nee, which prevents denominationalism, since anything larger or smaller than a locality is unBiblical.
3) He never understood partial rapture, and thus never received the blessing of Rev. 1.3 of knowing end-time events as they really will be.
4) His responses to these matters reflected a certain carnality to him, that he could not perceive the original Word of God on these matters. This is a good example of how men study of the word of God inordinately with their mind but never letting real change affect their spirit so that their mind can think clearly, spiritually.
