Commonly Held Beliefs by Miles Stanford, Pat Knapp and Jim Moran
Miles Standford's (deceased) commentary is so off-base bearing false witness (of Watchman Nee) to misrepresent the truth about tripartite man and on other matters, such as misunderstanding partial rapture, it convicts itself. However, if someone wants me to respond to something specific, I will do that, just like I exposed Dennis McCallum errors. It is of no point for we should not cater to men's flesh. I just do it to see if there is anything to what the guy says for I do not want to hold onto any untruth.
I was was shocked to find out these men are wrong, for example we see again, the underlying motivation is to fight man's tripartite nature but covering up that motivation as we have seen in Pat Knapp's article. To me this is a sign something is not right in these men, in their mission to rationalize their their bipartite man and other end time views. It is really not that hard to read W. Nee correctly if you read patiently with an open heart for the truth and a discerning spirit.
Amazingly the reasons I have found for why people misread is there is something else going on. It is only a cover up. The reasons I have found amazingly were Calvinism very often too like the in Leeists. Jim Moran was never able to understand partial rapture and man being tripartite. Other times it is preferring the rational life instead of the spiritual life which becomes spiritual jealousy for it seems as though men having committed a misreading, I discovered an underlying motivation for that misreading as in the case of Pat Knapp. And still others are those who misused such writings to start a cult such as Witness Lee' LSM. LSM sounds like a drug doesn't it? Well it is. Often times the spiritual comes upon attack by the unspiritual simply because it is spiritual. Even that book "God-men" which is mostly true showing LSM is a cult, is also wrong for they too believe man is bipartite. People really need to read Watchman Nee's The Spiritual Man and understand it.
There are many other writings out there of men trying to prove their point that there is no overcoming in the church and that initial salvation is overcoming make us all overcomers, not differentiating Christians who are still lying on a bed of fornication, or what rewards there may be for those who overcome in the millennial kingdom.
The conclusion of all these various views I have encountered have as their mission to discredit vital principles of the Scriptures:
2. Rewards During the Millennial Kingdom
3. Tripartite Man
5. Delegated Authority
6. Overcoming
7. OSAS Arminianism
8. Dispensations
It seems that the responses, misreadings and reasonings are the same for those who deny these principles in the Scriptures, like broken records unwilling to come to deeper spiritual truths of the Word of God that are really quite plain and common sense. I can see the flaws in their thoughts and what by their flesh they are holding onto. In comparison, I can not accept those reasonings because they are unhealthy thoughts and lead one into passivity as typified by Miles Stanford. That is that.
