Baby God's

"I visited Manila in early October of 1994. Some very concerned young people from the church in Pasay City, Metro Manila, came to see me. Among them was a young brother who participated in a special young people's training in Metro Manila. At that training, they were strongly compelled to raise up their hands and declare loudly and repeatedly, "Hallelujah, I am a baby God, I am a holy God, I am God!" This particular young man refused to make such a declaration and was consequently dismissed from the training for being "rebellious." Some of these trainees also attended the Sunday morning meeting at the church in Pasay City, and there they shouted that they were Gods. I was told that they cited Psalm 82:6, John 10:34-36, and also 1 John 3:2 in order to convince others that such proclamations were fully scriptual. In the course of our fellowship, these concerned young believers earnestly requested that I write a paper on these verses to help others to be clear regarding the context of these scriptures."

Shouldn't we be children of God, not babies?

QUOTE
For God to become man means He is a God-man. Like, for man to become God, it doesn’t mean that we leave our humanity. We are still human. We are both God and man. God was God first and man later, while we are man first and God later. The result of God becoming a man is that He enters into us, and yet continues to sit in heavens. The result of man becoming God is that we become completely like God. What the Lord Jesus was, likewise we will be.
