The Borg Dcumentary and Star Trek

This was neat, the borg “collective” documentary.

Rev. 21.16 The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles (some say 1400); its length and width and height are equal (Greek 12,000 stadia [2,220 kilometers], 12 being the number of eternal perfection with God x 1000).

But those who receive eternal life will not be a collective but individual “pillars”; Rev 3:12 “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God” which stands for permanently settled, because it cannot be taken away. Pillars are individual and will have three names of God etched on to each - God, New Jerusalem, and Christ.

This is eternal purpose of God. He will have His new city on new earth. It is predestined, to have His resurrected saved in that new city forever, but only those who believe in His Christ.

The message of this whole story, is that in the movies, and in everything it seems you will find deceitful teachings for entertainment sake, but these thoughts seep into our thoughts subconsciously and manifest themselves in error to reject Christ.

Eg. In the movie “Troy” the false teaching was that the “gods are jealous of men because men have precious mortality”. This is a wrong teaching because it then does no have you look unto Christ’s promise of resurrected life for those who believe in Him, and does not consider that were are sojourners in Him, instead teaching that we are here to get what we can get, here and now. We should look to see what we can do to glorify God in His Son.
