God's Economy

There is no such thing as God's economy mentioned in the Bible, strictly speaking, because God's kingdom is disassociated from economics and finance. That's why in the Bible the word "economy" is not used. And in all of Watchman Nee's writings (white covers), he used the phrase "God's economy" only once to describe His Kingdom. Only once! Wow!

This is a financial prosperity teaching, coveting money not of God, when you hear this word mindlessly repeated in a chant in virtually every mantra coming out of a leeist. Don't be a dullard! How diabolically opposite is the approach of a leeist from what the Bible taught and what Watchman Nee actually said. The word "economy" in the 21st century describes economics dealing with money. Word usage changes from the first half of the 20th century to the 21st century.

In the millennium there will be no economics, that is to say, no money and no trading: God's kingdom is without an economy! Even so, there will still be vast infrastructure of products, goods and services, but they will not be for trade or for financial gain as would be in an money-centered economic system. Witness Lee sought for financial gain, so it was important that he splice this word "economy" into God's kingdom to get his adherents to have money on their brains, even if only subconsciously.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is probably a duck. The lsm/lc cult sued Harvest House for $136 million and many other people and organizations through the decades. Is this the type of behavior of the little flock? Of course not. It is the behavior of corruption of a legitimate need - self-defense. The Bible says, turn your other cheek. Because the leeist cannot turn their other cheek, this expresses their anger and hatred.

Watchman Nee writes in The Finest of the Wheat: Volume 1 (Two Living Principles),

"What is the Sermon on the Mount? What are the instructions of Matthew 5-7? Let me say here that these three chapters inform us that it is not enough just to be right. Jesus’ teaching here on the Mount is that we who are His followers must do till the life which God has given us is satisfied. Why should a Christian turn the other cheek after being smitten on the first cheek? Is it not good enough if he keeps silent and does not revile after initially being smitten? Would that not be an indication of great discipline? Yet Jesus intimates by His teaching that the inner life regards this passivity as insufficient. When a follower of Christ turns the other cheek, it shows that he has neither anger nor hate inside and that he is able to bear further ill-treatment. Life is humble. Life is able to turn the other cheek. This is the way of life."

This is why though Nee had offenders, he was never offended to the point where he would take take legal action. How different was his approach than the approach of a leeist suing so many people and organizations. Good thing the leevitical lsm/lc system is not God's economy.
