I mostly make signatures for myself and edit graphics for things like banners, backgrounds etc. I usually take a premade graphic (or two) and edit those, instead of creating one from scratch. I use Paint Shop Pro 7 and Photoshop 6 to do most of my work. For animated intros or buttons, I use Flash MX (which can save to both Flash and GIF format).
