Beej's review: If only this CD was large enough to fit in my car CD player . . .  Instead, I had to wait until I could burn a copy to CD before I actually owned a copy playable in my car stereo.  But now, I'm happy!  And why's that?  These are probably two of the most rockin' songs ever written for Sailor Moon.  And I'm just ignoring the fact that they're probably better than many other songs written for other anime . . .
  1. La Soldier - Believe me when I say I take great pleasure in reviewing this song.  I could not find a better song than this one to run through my CD player again and again and again.  ^_^  Musically, it's a fast, techno-style battle song, with a lot of synth and samples (like the wolf howl ^_^).  It was first used in the R season as the end battle song.  Later, it was used in the next four incarnations of the Sailor Moon Musical (on-stage, live-action, incredibly popular . . .).  In fact, those are the only full size CDs you can get it on.
  2. Sailor War - The reason these two songs are paired on this single is because they're both part of the Musical CDs.  This is also a great song, with a wicked pipe organ intro that sets a really ominous tone to the whole song.  This, too, is bass-driven techno, meant for a battle song.  I mean, come on - the title is "Sailor War" . . .
