Beej's comments:  Another great song from the Three Lights.  What, you wanted more?  Then read the review . . .

Mayou Naka Hitori - more of the same from the Three Lights, but this tune stands apart on its own merits.  There's a smattering of funk bass in this song, to go with the syncopated rhythm section.  Rather than go with a horn section or a mix of horns and sax, this song uses all saxophones.  Might I say, excellent choice.  The saxes are impeccable, with a distinct "wailing" tone - what impressed me most is the use of a sax section to play the same harmonic line, as they are perfectly in sync, something that can be incredibly hard to pull off.  Chika-san's low (some would say "sultry") voice gives the song a really cool feel.  As a result, the song is something you can play in the background, without any annoying "shots" to disturb you.
