Lynn Evans
|
|
Lynn Evans has taught pottery as various
community centres in Vancouver, BC since 1986. In 2004 she moved to
Kamloops. Lynn works mainly on the wheel, making functional work such as
bowls. She uses various decorating techniques, including coloured
porcelain, slip carving, underglaze paints, atomizer spray, carving, and
resist. She raku fires her large vases. She has attended numerous
workshops over the years, and has actively promoted pottery classes. Her
work was shown at the Vancouver Court House in 1988, and has been
displayed and sold at various craft fairs and pottery sales in Vancouver.
