Michelle was raised in
Kamloops and started doing pottery in 2001. She's a part-time potter,
mostly making functional pottery but often drawn towards non-functional
artistic pieces. Most pieces are done in a cone 6 clay and fired in an
electric kiln although she enjoys playing with raku clay and firing
whenever possible. Michelle belongs to both the Thompson Valley Potters
Guild and the Kamloops Arts and Crafts Club, and teaches wheel classes
through KACC. Three years ago she started throwing under
