Teressa began potting nearly 20 years ago.
She first marketed functional earthenware painted in bright designs
which required a smooth surface. Home life and
production pottery being shipped all over
Canada
kept this mother of 4 very busy. Where the energy came
from is still a mystery to her.
The pace of life has changed and so has Teressa’s focus. Switching
to a mid range clay has taken a lot of trial and error to get to a point
where she is happy with her glazes and looking forward to continuing her
journey of discovery. Various workshops have been a great source of
inspiration. Teressa now enjoys giving her work life
with texture and has added sculptural pieces that highlight her
creativity.
