The BC Federation of Labour has released a 5-minute video explaining why the minimum wage in
British Columbia should be raised to $10 per hour. ...
As you all know, our MLA’s voted to give themselves a raise of 29% - meanwhile over 100,000 workers earning the minimum wage in British Columbia have not had a raise since 2001, 250,000 earning less than $10 per hour with 63% of them being women.
$10 NOW! B.C. Workers Need A Raise Posted on the TWU site
Everywhere around the province, people are demanding that the 250,000 people who earn less than $10 per hour get a raise and we would like you, your members, friends and family to join us in sending a message to raise minimum wage.
Its pretty simple, all we are asking you to do is to click on one of the links below to send your MLA a message.
Not even 2 minutes of your time is all it will take support BC’s lowest paid workers!
