This home is in an unbeatable location: the neighbourhood of Conaught located in the West Beltline of Downtown Calgary. The very centre of downtown is, at most, a twenty minute walk with transit less than a block away. The famous 17th Avenue, lined with restaurants, shops, pubs and galleries, is only three blocks South. At the East end of 17th Avenue are the Stampede Grounds, home of the Calgary Stampede as well as the Roundup Centre, Calgary’s largest convention centre. Downtown’s newest and the city’s nicest grocery store is 2 blocks North. The Bow River park and pathway is seven blocks North. 14th Street is two blocks West which allows easy access to the Trans Canada Highway. Banff Park gates are one hour West. Dozens of area attractions are very close.

Built in 1912, she is almost 100 years old. Her character remains and she has been kept up well. She was recently renovated to be run as a bed and breakfast so she is tidy, uncluttered clean and eclectically furnished and decorated. Her bed and breakfast days are over so she is now being offered wholly as a vacation rental home. Within the last six month new appliances and furniture, including a 52” flat screen TV and Dolby 5.1 stereo have finished the transformation from B&B.

We are offering over 1400 square feet on two levels. On the main floor are the traditional dining room, living room and kitchen. Off the kitchen is a three piece bathroom, a dressing room with an Internet ready computer and the back deck with an electric grill. Trees surrounding the deck make it so private, you may forget you are in the city. There is also a front sun porch. A great place to sit and read and watch the very entertaining 11th Street. The second floor offers three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size pillow top mattress, TV and private sitting area. The second and third bedrooms have full beds, both pillow tops as well. A second bathroom is also located on the second floor. One covered parking space is also included.

Cleaning Options
  • Cleanup After checkout - $45 per man/hour to return the house to pre-checkin condition. This means that if you leave it as you found it, there will be no additional charge. Final laundering of linens and towels and remaking of beds is included with rental.
  • Full daily housekeeping can be arranged for $30.00 per occupied room per night
