I was born and raised in Alberta. I graduated from California State University (B.A., English), The University of British Columbia (B.S.W.) and Simon Fraser University (M.Ed., Counselling Psychology). Specialized training includes courses in clinical hypnosis, trauma and PTSD, sexual abuse, and advanced group therapy. I have lived in Vancouver for over twenty-five years. In addition to my private practice, I provide consultation and volunteer time to work with refugee survivors of persecution and torture.
