FVD -- Photos of house

          Although the house is actually in Dorval, a suburb of Montreal, we tend to talk about our "house in Montreal."

          This is what the house looked like when we made the offer on it.

          This was the house in the winter of '93-'94, which was a heavy snowfall year. The snow got much higher than this, by the height of the winter, you could sit in the living room and you wouldn't see cars pass on the street. When Dorval plows the streets, they don't haul it away, they use a snowblower and blow it onto the front yards. So you end up with a six-foot high snowbank in the front, and complete privacy.
