  SOUNDATHON 09

3 PM Nov. 20-3 PM Nov. 27: Our third and final week, looking at local sports radio.  Back in 1991, KJR 950 Seattle, a 60s & 70s Top 40 powerhouse, became one of the first all-sports radio stations after THE FAN started in New York, 4 years earlier.  Like Vancouver, the play-by-play rights are competitive and both cities have lost their NBA franchise. There is also an all-sports radio station at AM 1150 Bellingham which also covers the Seattle sports teams very well.  LISTEN LIVE!!
