The Youth and Young Adult Ministry of Vancouver Burrard and Vancouver South Presbyteries is a special
ministry of the Presbyteries, called to…

Enable the spiritual
journey of youth and young adults as they grow in their faith and
understanding.

Support, strengthen
and maintain the involvement of young people in the church.
·
Facilitate the
participation of youth and young adults in the creation of a caring community
in which faith can be challenged and challenging.
·
Enable church and
society to hear and respond to young people.
The Presbyteries' Youth and Young Adult Ministry lives
out its

WORKING
WITH CONGREGATIONS via C.E.
Committees, Boards, M & P Committees to look at youth and young adult
ministry through discussions, developing priorities and mission statements,
etc.
·
LENDING LIBRARY - at the office there is a large selection of book
and magazine resources available for lending.
·
YOUTH COUNCIL - a group of youth representing the congregations in
the presbyteries that come together to plan and promote events and to help set
the direction of youth ministry in the presbyteries.

developed by the Youth Council in 1992 who were answering a need of youth who

WANDERING WORSHIPS - developed as a way to share the Word and the
importance of youth and young adult ministry with congregations. Wandering Worships have been wandering since
1992. Along with the Presbytery youth
representatives and youth in the congregations we share in worship through
drama, music, storytelling, and scripture! We welcome invitations! Check out
